Lisa Olivia Munn, a popular singer and actress, was born at Oklahoma City. She was the daughter of Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam and has Chinese heritage, while the father of her, Winston Barrett Munn, comes from a family that has long-standing roots within the American South. Olivia's parents separated at the age of 2. She grew up with her mother, who served with the United States Air Force, and also her stepfather. Olivia was raised at Tokyo in Japan. While her family had moved from Oklahoma to various other locations, it was it in Tokyo that she received most of her schooling. At this point she performed in a number of local theater productions and later became a model in the Japanese fashion business. Olivia, who had been living with her parents in Los Angeles in order to fulfill her desire to become an actor was determined to pursue this goal when the family moved back to the United States. After a few minor performances, Olivia achieved success in her first major role as Mily Acua in the Hawaii filmed TV show Beyond the Break 2006 and as the receptionist of Rob Schneider.
