Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the only woman to take home the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media celebrity. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman to have won the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and raised to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Being an avid sportsman and fitness enthusiast since a young age she participated in various school games and also won numerous awards. The first time she participated was time in 2009 in CrossFit Games held in California and did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as in 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67kg. Annie started her CrossFit journey in California in 2009. She had a good performance at her very first games. She placed within the top 10 of a field of 70. She did not manage to get any results from this tournament and she ended her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen guided her to an overall second place at the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. In the following year, she participated again at CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performances. She became the first woman to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie won again the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she received a gold medal. Then in 2021 she was awarded with a bronze. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie has gained notoriety for her athletic talents, has appeared in advertisements of athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and other. She also has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie", with over a thousand followers. This is the channel where she posts videos on training diet, family life as well as travel.
