Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and performer best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Later, in 1956, she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. The film was a massive hit and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently she's also been a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three and she continued to live there throughout her childhood and adolescence. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
